Where luxury meets history
The building’s history stretches back to 1844, when Hirsch Jakab Kassowitz commenced construction based on the enduring classicist designs of the celebrated architect József Hild. Originally two storeys high, the building underwent a major transformation in 1870, when it was extended with an additional floor according to plans by Károly Hild — nephew of József Hild. This distinguished U-shaped building bore witness to history’s turning points, from the Revolution of 1848–49 to the Freedom Fight of 1956. During the Second World War, its walls saw profound change, as one section became part of the Jewish ghetto while another remained outside its boundaries.
The building has already reached its highest point
In keeping with tradition, we celebrated the completion of the highest point with a topping-out ceremony. In the presence of business partners and press representatives, the wreath was placed atop the building complex by a construction crane.
Following the ceremonial placement of the wreath, attendees had the opportunity to join a guided tour of the construction site, to view various locations of the structurally completed property complex and its scale model, and to stroll along the distinctive passageway currently under construction.
