The fifth round of the SevenPearl Scramble GolfTour took place on Thursday, 6 August 2026, on the 18-hole course of Zala Springs Golf Resort. Organized by GOLFiGO, Hungary’s nationwide pairs scramble series once again put the game, strategy, and community front and centre — this time in the premium setting of Zalacsány.
Twenty-eight pairs teed off with a 2:00 PM shotgun start. The win went to the host-club pairing of Botond Bálint Bartosand junior Jake Ying, who posted an outstanding gross 60 (net 59). Their round featured one eagle, ten birdies, and seven pars — without a single bogey. Second place went to Balázs Brúder and Luu Lan Hoa Nguyen (gross 65 / net 64), while Annamária Hoffmann and Botond Novák completed the podium (gross 66 / net 65).
As dual prizes are not permitted and the gross award takes precedence, the net leaderboard was headed — after the gross winners — by László Bartók and Steven Rajki (gross 68 / net 64). Net second place went to Brúder / Nguyen, with Hoffmann / Novák third.
Among the special prizes, Seven Pearl also took the spotlight: the ladies’ longest drive (hole 9) was won by Réka Kocsis, and the men’s longest drive (hole 1) by Botond Novák. Nearest-to-the-pin highlights included Jake Ying on hole 8 (398 cm) and charity NTP winner Van Vinh Tran on hole 5 (93 cm).
Before the round, the Seven Pearl team welcomed players with a pearl-stringing bracelet making activity: just as scramble golf turns the best ball into a shared decision, each pearl only becomes a bracelet when it is carefully matched — with the same precision and attention we put into every Seven Pearl home.
The next day: IV. Ladies Day Tournament
On 7 August, the course belonged to the ladies. Zala Springs Health & Golf Resort hosted the Ladies Day Tournamentfor the fourth time — 56 players, individual stroke play.
The day’s top honour, the Erzsébet Hevesi Memorial Trophy (gross), went to host-club player Réka Kocsis (gross 82). Kira Képes (82) and Ilona Turkovics (85) completed the gross podium.
The Zsuka Patyi Memorial Trophy (net) was won by Daniela Minkova (Botaniq Máriavölgy) with a net 67. Andrea Pethő (Old Lake, 69) took net second, Katalin Balis (Balaton Golf, 70) third.
Among juniors, the Kriszta Fodor Memorial Trophy went to Júlia Komáromy (Balaton Golf), ahead of Kira Képes and Panka Pintér. In the 36.0+ handicap category, Zala Springs junior talent Riana Mustafina took the win.
